Storyline:
Chak De India Full Movie Download is an 2007 Indian Hindi-language sports movie directed by Shimit Amin, and made by Aditya Chopra under the umbrella of Yash Raj Films, with an original screenplay written by Jaideep Saghni. The film features Shah Rukh Khan as Kabir Khan, a former coach for the India men’s field hockey national team. After a devastating defeat to Pakistan, Khan is ostracised from playing the sport due to religion-based prejudice. Seven years later, in an effort to redeem himself and his reputation, he is appointed coach to India’s Indian National Women’s Hockey team in the hope of transforming its 16 sour players into a team that has won awards.
Sahni screenwriter Sahni was impressed from the India women’s field hockey national team’s victory in the 2002 Commonwealth Games to develop Chak De! India’s script after having read about the event in an article in a newspaper. The screenplay was fiction as were the actors, though drawn from the real players as well as coaches were conceived by Sahni. Kabir Khan’s challenges were similar to the challenges faced by the real-life Mir Ranjan Negi, but Sahni did not know about Negi’s struggles during the writing of the script.
Based on the advice by Maharaj Kaushik Kaushik, who was the coach for the women’s team of hockey, Sahni was invited by Negi to be part of the film’s production team. A group of professional athletes and actors were selected as the 16 team members. The team was given workshops to teach actors hockey as well as for the players to learn acting. Kaushik and Negi would work with Sahni Khan and other cast members over the course of six months. The choreography for the sports scenes was created by Rob Miller, and the music was composed by Salim Sulaiman and the lyrics were composed by Sahni.
