Storyline:
Jai Bhim Movie Download is 2021’s Indian Tamil-language legal drama film, directed by T. J. Gnanavel and produced by Jyothika and Suriya under the banner of 2D Entertainment. The film features Suriya, Lijomol Jose and Manikandan along with Rajisha Vijayan, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh and others as supporting characters. The film tackles the issue of bias in police work and violence by the state against a minority community.
Based on a real-life incident from 1993 that involved a court case that was fought through Justice K. Chandru, it follows how Sengeni and Rajakannu a couple of their Irular tribe. Rajakannu was detained by police and later reported disappeared in the police stations. Sengeni is seeking the assistance of an attorney Chandru to pursue justice for her husband.
After an announcement made on April 20, 2021 the movie began principal photography in April 2021 with a large portion of the sequences made at Chennai as well as Kodaikanal. The production was stopped due to the COVID-19 virus and filming began in July 2021. The film was finished in September. Cinematography and editing was done by S. R. Kathir and Philomin Raj. The film’s music and score was created by Sean Roldan. The title of the film is an homage to the slogan that was used by those who follow B. R. Ambedkar.
Jai Bhim was released on Amazon Prime Video, prior to Diwali on November 2, 2021 as part of an agreement to release multiple films which was signed with 2D Entertainment. The film received acclaim from all over the world from critics who praised the performances, story and direction as well as the social messages. Several magazines rated the film as among the top Tamil as well as Indian films in 2021. The film didn’t make the cut at the 94th Academy Awards.
