Storyline:
Premam Movie Download: Alphonse Puthren wrote and directed the 2015 Indian Malayalam-language coming-of-age romance film Premam. Anwar Rasheed directed the film. In the supporting parts, Nivin Pauly is joined by Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastian, Anupama Parameswaran, Shabareesh Varma, Krishna Sankar, and Siju Wilson. Premam was released in Kerala on May 28, 2015, and the next day across India. The film was a commercial success, grossing 60 crores despite being produced on a 4 crore budget.
The film was named one of The Hindu’s top 25 Malayalam films of the decade and went on to become a cult classic. The film received accolades and nominations in a number of categories, including best director, script, Nivin and Pallavi’s performances, music, cinematography, and editing. The film played for 175 days in Kerala and 3 days in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In 2016, the film was remade in Telugu with the same title.
Premam was nominated in seven categories at the 63rd Filmfare Awards South, winning Best Female Debut (Sai Pallavi) and Best Male Playback Singer (Vijay Yesudas for “Malare”). It earned fifteen nominations and won seven awards at the 5th South Indian International Movie Awards, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Music Director, Best Lyricist, and Best Male Playback Singer (Vijay Yesudas). Nivin and Sai Pallavi were named Best Actor Critics and Best Debut Actress, respectively.
It garnered nine nominations and four wins at the first IIFA Utsavam, including Best Performance in a Comic Role, Best Music Direction, Best Lyricist, and Best Male Playback Singer. The film won six Asianet Film Awards, six Vanitha Film Awards, three Asianet Comedy Awards, four Asiavision Awards, and two CPC Cine Awards, among others. However, the film was not considered for the Kerala State Cinema Awards, the official state film award awarded by the Kerala government. Nivin’s performance was named one of the 100 Greatest Performances of the Decade by Film Companion.
